A veteran actress, Mariann Aalda began her standup career in 2008. She performs in clubs coast-to-coast — from Caroline’s in NYC to Hollywood Improv.
A Chicago native, she got her show biz start on the streets of New York… literally, as a writer-performer doing sketch comedy on a pull-down stage off the side of a truck with Off-Centre Theatre. She has toured with the improv groups, The Proposition and 3 Blacque Chix. Mariann is also a cancer survivor, and not afraid to tackle this topic with humor. She also has some hilarious insight on aging, sex, and more!
