Kaitlin Colombo

Although old enough to drink and gamble, but not old enough to rent a car without a cosignor, Kaitlin Colombo is a ten year veteran of the stand-up comedy circuit.

Kaitlin appeared on LAST COMIC STANDING (Winner, Week #1 Online Fan Favorite); provided comedic commentary for… MAURY POVICH SHOW (“No, I wasn’t waiting on my Baby Daddy’s paternity test. Take THAT, 10th grade Guidance Counselor!”)… Multiple installments of E! ENTERTAINMENT COUNTDOWN SPECIALS and as Featured Entertainment Correspondent for “COUNTDOWN TO THE OSCARS! LIVE: FROM THE RED CARPET” SPECIAL.

Kaitlin has hosted numerous celebrity events; most notably, LADIES HOME JOURNAL’S “FUNNY WOMEN WE LOVE” and AOL/XM SATELLITE PRESENTS THE NEW YORK UNDERGROUND COMEDY FESTIVAL.

A prolific writer, Kaitlin sold a TV pilot based on her unique family life to FOX BROADCASTING CORP. (Hypnotic, Exec. Prod) when she was just 17 years old. She’s also a seasonal blogger for EDGE PUBLICATIONS. Her article “Deadly Web: The Rise and Fall of SchoolScandals.com” was published in GEEK MONTHLY MAGAZINE. Currently she is developing several projects through the famed NYC ACTORS STUDIO PRODUCER/ DIRECTOR WORKSHOP.

As an actress, Kaitlin has appeared Off and Off-Off-Broadway as “Marcy” in Bert V. Royal’s, “DOG SEES GOD”; “Evelyn” in Neil LaBute’s, “THE SHAPE OF THINGS”; and “Vixen” in Jeff Goode’s, “THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES”.

The proud daughter of a gay man and a lesbian, Kaitlin is a tireless advocate for LGBT issues. She appeared on ROSIE O’DONNELL’S R FAMILY CRUISE with Cyndi Lauper and Kathy Griffin. She also performed on the Main Stage OF L.A. GAY PRIDE WEEK and spends her summers headlining in Provincetown, MA.

Kaitlin’s original Parody Opera/Drinking Game “PLANET OF THE GAYS” (which debuted in Provincetown) will open Off- Broadway in NYC during the summer of 2011.

KAITLIN COLOMBO currently resides in NYC’s Hell’s Kitchen with her pet rabbit, Caligula.
