Ryan Hamilton is endearing comedy lovers, and his future is bright. Named one of Rolling Stone’s Five Comics to Watch with standout appearances on Conan, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, and Showtime, he’s establishing himself as one of the nation’s favorite stand-ups.
He’s impressed industry insiders by racking up a remarkable number of national competition wins and festival appearances, including winning The Great American Comedy Festival and Sierra Mist’s America’s Next Great Comic Search. He’s also a regular performer at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festivals with several international television performances including The Muppets Gala in Montreal and the Sydney Opera House International Comedy Gala.
He’s often lauded for being a clean comedian, although his audiences span a broad spectrum. Wrote one reviewer, “His stories and delivery are so funny, it doesn’t even cross your mind that he works completely clean. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. When he talks about his experience skydiving or taking a hot-air-balloon ride, you’re too busy laughing to notice he’s not like the others.” (from Vancouver Georgia Straight “For Comic Ryan Hamilton Getting Clean Laughs Just Comes Naturally”)
Growing up in Idaho and making his home in New York City he’s far from his small-town roots, but the contrast suits him. He’s currently headlining top comedy clubs across the country building a following of enthusiastic fans.
Joe Mulligan is a truly unique entertainer, combining a head for stand-up comedy, a heart for music, and a soul for improvisation. His one of a kind shows, clean for all ages, with engaging and hilarious audience participation is a proven guaranteed hit.
Joe learned to play guitar from Beatles albums growing up in New Jersey and learned his craft in New York City’s renowned improvosational troupe The First Amendment and later in Manhattan stand-up showcases.
Joe makes his home in Manhattan when he is not on the road. He has been seen in several theatrical performances including his own one-man-show and several commercials. He has been on Comedy Central. He is also an accomplished photographer with books planned for future release.
Michael Che is a stand-up comic from the Lower East Side of Manhattan. As the youngest child of seven, he has been his family’s source of comic relief since he was old enough to wear diapers. Growing up with much older siblings, Che became familiar with stand-up comedy at a very young age when he watched Eddie Murphy and Damon Wayans’ specials. However, it wasn’t until he attended LaGuardia Music and Performing Arts High School that he realized performing could be a future career. As a performer, Che cites Patrice O’Neal and George Carlin as his biggest influences. He appreciates performers that can identify humanity in the most controversial actions and convey it to the audience through humor — which is the approach he takes with his comedy. Che has been featured at major comedy clubs throughout Manhattan, but has built a name for himself playing alternative rooms in New York’s downtown scene.
Richard Jay Belzer is a stand-up comedian, author, and actor. He is perhaps best known for his long-running role as detective John Munch.
Michele Balan was one of the four finalists on NBC’s 2006 “Last Comic Standing,” and she is “The Last Woman Comic . . .. ”
Voted one of the “Top 10 Comics” by Backstage Magazine in 2004, Michele Balan is a brash, New York Stand-up comedian who has performed on Comedy Central as well as in top comedy clubs, theatres, festivals and on cruises all over the country.
Often told she was naturally funny, the Brooklyn native left a high-paying executive position at a computer company to pursue comedy – even though comedy has never proved as lucrative – and she has been performing ever since.
She got her start as a “Female female-impersonator,” doing lip sync impressions of Bette Midler. Now people tell her she is like a “Female George Burns with many one-liners.” Michele’s career hast taken her from The Improv in Los Angeles to Caroline’s on Broadway in New York City, and from the Montreal “Just For Laughs Festival” to the “Dinah Shore Women’s Weekend.”
Michele has shared the stage with Kathy Najimy, Jennifer Holiday, Taylor Dayne, Harvey Fierstein, Bruce Vilanch and Nell Carter. In 1999 she recorded a CD at The Improv in Los Angeles which features Nell Carter singing a song parody that Michele wrote.
Michele recently recorded the critically acclaimed DVD entitled “LIVE, Just Barely” at the famed Joe’s Pub, home to the public theater and performers like Joan Rivers, Eartha Kitt and Leslie Gore, for who she just wrote a comedy segment.
